Method
- To cook on the stovetop: place all ingredients in a non-stick skillet and heat on medium-low until cheese has melted.
- To cook in the microwave: place all ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl. Mix well. Cover with plastic wrap and cook on HIGH until cheese is melted; stirring every minute.
- To cook in the slow cooker: place all ingredients in the slow cooker. Mix well. Cover on LOW until the cheese is melted; approximately 1 hour.
- Serve warm with tortilla chips.
Notes
- Tip 1: Keep any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge. It should last for about 3 to 4 days.
- Tip 2: You can freeze this dip! Just make sure it’s in a freezer-safe container. Thaw it overnight in the fridge before reheating.
- Tip 3: This dip goes perfectly with tortilla chips, but you can also serve it with fresh veggies like celery and carrot sticks.
- Tip 4: Feel free to add jalapeños or diced bell peppers for extra flavor!
- Tip 5: Top with fresh cilantro or green onions for a beautiful presentation.
