Ingredients
  

  • 1 can refried beans
  • 1 jar salsa
  • 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can Fritos jalapeno cheddar cheese dip

Equipment

  • 10-inch Skillet
  • 6-qt Slow Cooker
  • Rotary Cheese Grater

Method
 

  1. To cook on the stovetop: place all ingredients in a non-stick skillet and heat on medium-low until cheese has melted.
  2. To cook in the microwave: place all ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl. Mix well. Cover with plastic wrap and cook on HIGH until cheese is melted; stirring every minute.
  3. To cook in the slow cooker: place all ingredients in the slow cooker. Mix well. Cover on LOW until the cheese is melted; approximately 1 hour.
  4. Serve warm with tortilla chips.

Notes

  • Tip 1: Keep any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge. It should last for about 3 to 4 days.
  • Tip 2: You can freeze this dip! Just make sure it’s in a freezer-safe container. Thaw it overnight in the fridge before reheating.
  • Tip 3: This dip goes perfectly with tortilla chips, but you can also serve it with fresh veggies like celery and carrot sticks.
  • Tip 4: Feel free to add jalapeños or diced bell peppers for extra flavor!
